22. 20 2010 ECOnomic Housing ECOnomic Housing Angolan Navy For the Angolan Navy, Tebodin designed two concepts for an adaptable and relocatable ECOnomic House that can vary on demand in size, interior plan and material types. The houses are standing 30 cm lifted from the top soil to prevent animals and insects entering the house and to allow heavy rain flow under it. The house reacts positive to soil settlement and soil movement unlike conventional housing. This generic navy home has a pleasent interior plan with a kitchen and bathroom included. Solar power is optional. The house can be manufactured for T3, T4 and T 5 housing.

The houses have solar power, a flushing toilet, a bathroom and kitchen. Sewerage can be treated by a natural waste water treatment system which needs no chemicals and produces clean water that can be re-used for the flushing toilets or a grey water system.
