2. NATIONAL GREENING PROGRAM
President Benigno S. Aquino signed on February 24, 2011 Executive Order
No. 26, declaring the implementation of the National Greening Program
(NGP) as a government priority that shall plant some 1.5 billion trees
covering about 1.5 million hectares for a period of six (6) years from 2011
to 2016, in the following lands of the public domain:
Forestlands
Mangrove and protected areas
Ancestral domains
Civil and military reservations
Urban areas under the greening
plans of LGUs
Inactive and abandoned mine
sites
Other suitable lands

9. • Sites planted by the school have high

CENRO/NGP Coordinator:
• continue to provide the technical

sustainability of the program.
• help the school develop/establish
more area for tree plantation.
• Continuous IEC should be
undertaken to increase awareness
on environment protection and
rehabilitation.
