2. Alan Strauss
Alan has over 17 years of industry experience including over
15 years of expertise within the talent acquisition industry.
In 2009, Alan (along with a childhood friend) founded
StartFinder—a DC based IT and talent acquisition
management consulting, staffing, and recruitment
outsourcing services company. More specifically, Alan is the
managing partner of StartFinder’s Talent Acquisition practice
that provides strategy and staffing services (contract and full
time recruiters) to recruiting industry executives.
In addition to working at StartFinder, Alan is also the founder
of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Council (TALC). TALC is
an association of DC and Baltimore area talent acquisition
executives that meet twice a quarter to share best practices
and discuss industry challenges. With over 140 members
from over 50 companies, the Talent Acquisition Leadership
Council (TALC) has emerged as the DC area’s leading
association for corporate recruiting vice presidents and
directors.
