2. Dining with Friends… February 19 Together with Gaming with Unique Affairs, we hosted a dinner party as a part of RAIN’s Dining with Friends. Our hopes were to advance HIV awareness in a subliminal approach through the play of childhood games. The evening was topped off with a Finale, at the McColl Center for Visual Art.

3. Let’s Paint the Night RED… March 10 March 10 is a very special day for Red Pump. Not only did we celebrate National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day , we also celebrated our existence. Yes, we were founded on this day in the year of 2009, so a true celebration was in order. Paint the Night RED was a ladies only event held at Vertical Tease Fitness , a pole fitness boutique. The ladies “ Rocked their Red Pumps ” while learning a new, fun and flirty pole routine…and it was a workout. The night concluded with candid conversation about the impact of HIV/AIDS in our community.

4. Can U Stand The Fire … April 2 At this event, we participated as a vendor in an Awareness Event hosted by Red Pump Award recipient DeVondia Roseborough . There was poetry read, presentation on HIV/AIDS Awareness and Education, and FREE HIV Testing!

5. SAY RED: Cocktails & Conversations… April 8 This year’s Say RED: Cocktail and Conversations event was the official kickoff for STYLE Week Charlotte . All the fashionistas alike gathered for an evening of cocktails and conversations about HIV/AIDS at Bluprint Restaurant and Bar.

6. AIDS Walk Charlotte… May 7 For the 15th annual AIDS WALK Charlotte we were committed to " Rock our Red Pumps " in the three mile walk and WE DID IT. We were truly the ladies of the hour!

7. RED Pump Charlotte Gives Raised over $850 dollars and donated 100% of the proceeds to: RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network) Red Pump-Charlotte continues to hit the ground running. Our events capture audiences of 50 or more people, many of whom are excited to help us spread our message as we promote HIV prevention through education.
