4. LynxOS the LynxOS RTOS is a Unix-like real-time operating system from LynuxWorks (formerly "Lynx Real-Time Systems"). Sometimes known as the Lynx Operating System, LynxOS features full POSIX conformance and, more recently, Linux compatibility. LynxOS is mostly used in real-time embedded systems , in applications for avionics , aerospace , the military, industrial process control and telecommunications MicroC/OS-II MicroC/OS-II is a low-cost priority-based pre-emptive real time multitasking operating system kernel for microprocessors , written mainly in the C programming language. It is mainly intended for use in embedded systems . Xenix Xenix is a version of the Unix operating system, licensed by Microsoft from AT&T in the late 1970s. The Santa Cruz Operation (SCO) later acquired exclusive rights to the software, and eventually began distributing it as SCO UNIX.
