1. Evaluation Q3 We feel as though it is something that could be signed up to be a Hollywood film, mainly because it has the story line to become a big hit and is very interesting to the age group we have aimed our film at. We already know that it could be based on a Hollywood film because it is based on a Hollywood film (Phone booth). The Mise -en -scene in the film is a modern looking style. This is because we wanted the film to relate to younger groups 15-24. We decided to use casual clothing so it relates to everyday college life. The company that would produce our film would be Fox 2000 Pictures. This is because we researched similar films and they were also produced by Fox 2000 Pictures. films such as Phone Booth were produced by Fox 2000 Pictures.
3. Camera and tripod The strengths of using the camera and tripod is that we can get selected shots, as we were able to move from location to location. We were able to get clear, smooth shots while using the tripod. However the weaknesses of using the camera and tripod are that if we want to film shots in the rain, we are limited to location choices, as we have to keep the camera dry. Also if we are filming using the camera and the tripod in the wind, it is difficult to film as the wind shakes the tri-pod
4. Apple mac We used final cut to edit our piece and we found it very useful. It allowed us to be able to cut out different pieces, which we found, we didn’t need. The razor blade tool allowed us to cut out small sections and make it more productive. We also used soundtrack to add music to our piece. It was easy to make because we had a wide variety of different sounds and instruments to choose from. The only thing we found difficult about using this program was changing it to fit our film, as we copied it from our animatic.
5. Evaluation Q7 Ihave learnt how to use a camera properly.Ihave also learnt The rules that are involved in camera work e.g. the 180 degree rule. The whole group feel more confident when using the tripod and camera andknow how to set it all up correctly and were the shots should be aimed at. Overall I feel that the end task went successfully and I managed to correct all of the mistakes we had made. Working in a group has helped us to complete the task to the best of our ability and helped us to complete the task on time.
