management platform that works for you.
Slick was started out of a desire to bring the benefits of technology to
the hair and beauty industry, alongside a passion for helping salons to
run their business more effectively without costing the earth.
Text reminders can reduce no-shows by up to 70%. You can choose if they are sent 24
or 48 hours before an appointment.
You can log in to your salon from wherever you are and appointments from any device,
that updates in realtime. Let your staff access remotely with different permissions
We are always there for you. Our UK-based customer support team is available 7 days
a week, 8am to 10pm, with an average response time of less than 2 minutes.

Use the date picker to choose the correct
date, click in the calendar in the stylist’s
column at the time you would like to
make a booking.
You will be shown a search bar, begin
typing - if the client is already in the
system their name will appear.
Select the correct client, you will then
be shown a list of categories, from here
choose the services required and click
save!

How to make a booking
You can see loads of useful information
in the booking modal, including a
summary of services and prices, client
contact information and tags. You can
also access the client profile, edit/delete
a booking, mark as no show and set the
stylist preference.

Use these to assign certain client characterstics
to their profile such as ‘Friends and Family’
Opt-ins
Toggle these to opt clients in / out of text message
reminders and marketing messages
Patch test
Client patch test information will be shown here, you can
add new patch test information by clicking the ‘Add’ button
Scheduled bookings
All future bookings for a client are listed in the client profile.
Bookings are interactive, when clicked they will take you to
the live booking in the calendar
Booking history
You can access a client’s full booking history at the bottom
of the client profile, you can also view and resend receipts
These icons indicate there are booking
notes and SMS details
Click ‘View details’ to see
full history including:
Appointment summary
Discounts applied
Retail purchased
Payment method
Booking notes
SMS sent and received
with time stamp
Time Off
Checkout
Checkout
Use the date picker to choose the correct
date and click in the calendar in the
stylist’s column you would like to book
time off for.
From the pop out, select ‘Time off’ to be
shown the various options available.
It can also be set to repeat daily, weekly
or bi-weekly for repeating days off or for
holidays. Don’t forget to save!

Just like making a booking
Checkout your clients in just a few steps - easily
remove or add services, products, apply discounts,
add a tip, allow them to pay by cash, card, voucher
or gift card, or any combination. Just click on the
appointment and then the button marked “Checkout”
Find your daily cash-up in your menu, this shows your revenue and
allows you to reconcile your card and cash receipts.

As part of your Slick account, you have access to a full reporting suite and
dashboard. Your salon dashboard gives you a week by week snapshot of
salon revenue, average bill value and rebooking rate.
You can also look deeper into your salon’s performance over different
time periods by selecting one of the following differentiators and varying
by category and stylist:
If you want to increase your client list, you can enable online booking, allowing people to book directly
into your calendar from your website or social channels.
Just pop in to the ‘Online Booking’ section in settings and follow the instructions to get set up. You can
toggle on/off staff and the services that can be booked, as well as the business hours that are available.

chat bubble.

  • 4. Bookings Client profile Use the date picker to choose the correct date, click in the calendar in the stylist’s column at the time you would like to make a booking. You will be shown a search bar, begin typing - if the client is already in the system their name will appear. Select the correct client, you will then be shown a list of categories, from here choose the services required and click save! 1 2 3 How to make a booking You can see loads of useful information in the booking modal, including a summary of services and prices, client contact information and tags. You can also access the client profile, edit/delete a booking, mark as no show and set the stylist preference.   • 5. Time Off Checkout Checkout Use the date picker to choose the correct date and click in the calendar in the stylist’s column you would like to book time off for. From the pop out, select ‘Time off’ to be shown the various options available. It can also be set to repeat daily, weekly or bi-weekly for repeating days off or for holidays. Don’t forget to save! Time off can be created by hour or day 1 2 4 3 Just like making a booking Checkout your clients in just a few steps - easily remove or add services, products, apply discounts, add a tip, allow them to pay by cash, card, voucher or gift card, or any combination. Just click on the appointment and then the button marked “Checkout” Find your daily cash-up in your menu, this shows your revenue and allows you to reconcile your card and cash receipts.   • 6. As part of your Slick account, you have access to a full reporting suite and dashboard. Your salon dashboard gives you a week by week snapshot of salon revenue, average bill value and rebooking rate. You can also look deeper into your salon’s performance over different time periods by selecting one of the following differentiators and varying by category and stylist: If you want to increase your client list, you can enable online booking, allowing people to book directly into your calendar from your website or social channels. Just pop in to the ‘Online Booking’ section in settings and follow the instructions to get set up. You can toggle on/off staff and the services that can be booked, as well as the business hours that are available. If you need help adding your online booking link to your social channels get in touch with your account manager or use the live chat bubble.
