- Hello good morning ! My name is Ashok Kumar Chhetri, you can call me by Ashok only. Well, today, I am talking about Himalayas and the natural beauty of a small land locked country, Nepal. Now I would like to start by sharing some amazing facts… Geography: Situated between two gigantic nations China in the north and India in the South. Like a sandwich in a middle. As if a drop in an ocean. If you see carefully in the middle in a red colour, It looks like an eye. I am sure It will be very interesting fact for you all scholars fellows Our great poet Devkota, who was also a Education Minister of Nepal, he compares the country Nepal with a small eye, most beautiful part of the whole body and Nepal Most incredible country in the world. Never been a colony ever independent state. The Nepali flag is the only nation with triangular shape. Its just left corner of the slide. Now I see the mainly two issues here.
- The first is the definitely of Himalayas specially Mount Everest, highest peak of the world and The second is the ideas for your holiday trip, if you wish to visit Nepal. Now, You can see the magnificent Himalayas reflecting in this beautiful Lake. This is Phokara a famous tourist place in Nepal. Friends this is not Mount Everest, there are number of snow clad mountains in Nepal, Annapurna Base Camp nearby popular for trekking, hiking and out standing site scene. Most of the Nepalese can speak English language. Basically educated person speak very good English everywhere.
- Mount Everest, Top of the world. No one knew of Everest as the roof of the world until 19th century. Expert says, Everest was a sea some 60 million years ago. May be due to aggradations or degradations. Locally its SAGARMATHA – Goddess of the sky. Climbing Mt. Everest is really an adventurous job. Sir Edmond Hillary NZ and Tending Sherpa NPL were the first climber of Mt. Everest.
- The more we watch Mount Everest, the more it attracts all of us. Our eyes never feels tired Its really beyond imagination. However, 280 courageous climbers died trying to climb up. No worry you can enjoy observing Himalayan Flights safely. Now, I would like to move on some other alternatives for your holiday trip in Nepal. Let me introduce the some other activities very interesting For examples: Mountain flights it costs around 10,000 yen.
- Trekking is the best way for observing scenic beauty through naked eyes. Its very safe and most popular as well. The most important is your time. If you have a week long time, I strongly recommend you to enjoy the trekking. You will real taste the nature and its amazing diversities. Trekking takes at least 3 days. However some tour agencies offer even of a day trekking some time. The Photo is of Mustang, if you wish you can take vehicle or airways for this area as well.
- Paragliding also another most adventurous things you can enjoy. If you wish to paragliding its incredible
- You do have multiple choices to enjoy the himalayas.
- Small plane its called Ultra light flights.
- Mountain flight is very popular in Nepal. Basically its time saving and secured enough as well. Like wise, Nepal has very dense forest area, It is the second richest country for water resources.
- Jungle safari and riding elephants is very popular and most entertaining. This is the Photo of Chitwan National Park, One of the World Heritage listed by UNESCO. You will find people playing elephant Polo, if you wish you can participate in game as well. This is the best alternatives for those who finished the mountain flight or looking for other areas to spent their time.
- Rafting is also very popular in Nepal. I joined this event last year with my family. It was really amazing. However, its littlie bit seasonal, too. Rafting and sometimes trekking goes together may be next day something like that.

- Kathmandu city of Temples. Amazing sculptures of old civilization. Unfortunately, We have faced the devastating 7.8 Rector earth quake last year, that cost damaged a lot. However, we are gradually rebuilding them again. Well, the Major Cities: Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini Currency: Nepalese Rupee (approximately NRS.1 equals JPY.1 ). Almost 100 equals to 1 US $. Religion: Nepal is now secular State. There is a harmonious blending of Hinduism, Buddhism, Muslim, Christian and other religions. Budhha was born in Nepal Climate: Nepal has natural air conditions in Kathmandu and mountain areas. However, we have four major seasons, namely, (1) Winter: December-February, (2) Spring: March-May, (3) Summer: June-August, (4) Autumn: September-November. Autumn is the best season for everything. Arrival Visa is available. You can visit the website of Immigration Department of Nepal. Let talk about the food of Nepal
- To the right side of my slide this is like our national food Dal(Bean Curry) Bhat(Rice/Chapati) and Tarkari(Vegetable), People eat every day Lunch and dinner. You will find similar foods everywhere in Nepal, You can have this food in 300 yen and you can add any item within that fixed price. To the left upper one is MOMO it costs 200 Yen. Popular food in ceremony. The bottom is Fish Curry, its Chicken or Mutton but curry. Its cost is alos 250 yen. Yes Be aware of spicy. But in major cities like Kathmandu or Pokhara or Lumbini you may find the food of your country as well In summary..
- I would like to remind you that I am now to the end of my presentation. Please remember that you have got the ideas for your holiday trip in Nepal for mainly three reasons. Amazing view of Enormous Himalayas, Lumbini for Spiritual reasons and Joyful Jungle Sufari. Most importantly, entertaining mountain flights, adventurous trekking, and mind blowing temples and sculpture in kathmandu. No worry for visa, its just arrival or you can go through Hotel or travel agencies. The destiny is very much cheaper may be beyond imagination. Many foreigners come to visit Nepal, some of them shared that, “spending holidays at their hometown is much more expensive rather than a whole trip package in Nepal.” Therefore people visit Nepal will feel the natural paradise on earth and keep on visiting again again.
