  1. Teachers in public charter schools must meet certification/licensure requirements, if any, in the State’s charter school law.
  2. Many of the teachers having difficulty meeting HQT requirements fall within more than one of these groups. Pennsylvania continues to develop and implement focused strategies to address the challenges facing these teachers in attaining HQT status.
