4. Is this for me? What do you mean by
Contemporary Performance?
The term Contemporary Performance is used to describe:
hybrid performance works and artists that travel between the fields of
Experimental Theatre & Dance, Video Art, Visual Art, Music Composition
and Performance Art without adhering to one specific field’s practice.

• Forum - a meeting or medium where ideas
and views on a particular issue can be
exchanged.

• Provide a monthly meeting ground for solo artists
to engage in a creative process with activities &
events to steer artists towards realising projects
• A space to share Skills, Knowledge & Ideas
between practitioners
• Develop partnerships in support of solo
practitioners and solo work in Bristol
• Offer a web space for exchange, documentation
and professional development
• A solo performance platform (Bristol & Falmouth)
