• Many Internet measurements are based on a
high number of distributed nodes
– e.g. RIPE Atlas
• Geographical distribution often implies
geolocation of measurements
– e.g. RIPE Atlas users provide lat/lon
• Therefore geography is a good candidate
metaphor to understand collected data
