Spectrum is an amazing thing by all means. Every one of us directly or indirectly use it in
many forms, whether to watch TV, browse the internet or even to make or receive a phone
call. Almost every part of the world today has access to these splendid facilities, which
continue to make life a lot easier for all. At the same time, there are still some areas, mostly
located in rural regions, where people still do not have access to such mediums of
communication, which in a way has kept the people living there backwards, and which till date
continues to possess a lot of scope.

The need of the hour is to have as many people as possible from around the world to show a
concern for these people. The number of people seeking to amend existing government
policies pertaining to spectrum usage needs to become significant so that the world can see
that there is a need for change. Communication is one right that everyone on the planet must
have, and those who don't have it should be helped to get it in some or the other way.
Even if the governments are unable to get telecom firms set up their equipment in such areas,
they should at least facilitate such setup by the local people only, which will create a sort of
win-win situation for all. While those in power would not have to spend much out of their
pocket, the general public will be able to come at par with the world and do everything as
everyone else done by setting up their own systems. This is indeed not impossible. The only
need is to make this movement count, and this can only be achieved by all of us joining this
movement to make it a tremendous success.
