Media in MOTION Media in MOTION Media in MOTION Media in MOTION Media in MOTION XXXX Gold Retreat Media in MOTION Media in MOTION XXXX Gold Retreat Design, Build & Fabrication: Truckmania Agency, Concept & Campaign Management: Octagon Operations: Truckmania / Octagon Media in MOTOIN Agency Client: Lion Nathan – XXXX Gold Media in MOTION Description: The XXXX Gold Retreat was designed to leverage the XXXX Gold sponsorship of the V8 Supercar series on race MOTION tracks around Australia. Truckmania was briefed to design and build a unit that is mobile, simple to both bump-in and bump- out and unlike anything ever designed before it. The design was influenced by the classic “Queenslander” style pub and features a 7.5m bar with timber interior and decking using a variety of Australian hardwoods. The promotional unit consists of a B-Double trailer that once on site uses a combination of 21 hydraulic rams to transform the unit into the XXXX Gold Retreat. In travel mode the full unit including prime mover is approximately ~26m long, ~2.45m wide and 4.3m high. Once switched into operational mode on site the unit becomes ~6.5m wide at the widest point and ~8.2m high. Media in MOTION The A-Trailer contains an HD 16:9 LED screen that is just shy of 15 square metres and is used to beam all the action direct Media in MOTION from the track to the XXXX Gold Retreat. The lower level bar area in the B-Trailer provides approximately 72 square metres of space including the bar area. The upper level including the B-trailer roof, two verandas and the roof of the A-trailer amounts to approximately 85 square metres of viewing space. Other elements designed and built by Truckmania to deliver the required atmosphere around each event include the Angels stage placed in front of the A-Trailer, a number of themed Satellite Bars strategically placed around the Retreat and the Angels Ute + Hydraulic stage trailer that takes the Angels out onto the track for performances in front of the grandstand prior to races.
