oTo encourage more exchange of opinions among Japanese and non-Japanese at
RGST. RSGTに参加している日本人と外国人の間、意見交換と交流を推進したい
oDiscuss the challenges of implementing agile and scrum in Japan日本における
アジャイルとスクラムの導入の課題に関して議論して理解を深める
oCultural challenges in Japan (and other Asian countries) 日本、ひいてはアジア諸国に
おける文化的なハードルによる難しさ（いわゆる異文化交流の難しさ）
oChallenges specific to Japanese organizations 日本の企業体制におけるアジャイル導入
のハードルによる難しさ
oDiscuss what we can do together to address these issues 対策を一緒に考える

Structure of the session
セッションの進め方
Gain insight into different perspectives through this unique bilingually facilitated session
(Tatsuya and Rochelle will both switch between English and Japanese). There will be a
combination of separate Japanese and English discussion groups (defining the issues),
and discussions with mixed Japanese and non-Japanese participants (discussing what
to do about it).
そこでこのワークショップでは、日本の方々と外国の方々それぞれに各々の視点からこの課題
に関する意見を伺うところからスタートしようと思います。（ロッシェルと絹川が日英両言語を駆
使しつつ、このディスカッションの架け橋となるよう動きます）日本の方々と外国の方々それぞ
れを集めたセッションで、お話いただきやすい言語でまずはこの課題についてのご意見をいた
だき、そののちに両者混在のディスカッショングループを作りアイデアを合意いただくように進
行したいと思っています。

Guidelines for native speakers of English
英語が母国語の人へのガイドライン
Listen until the speaker finishes his/her sentence 相手が話し終わるまで聞く
Take a breath before you start responding 返答をする前に、一呼吸する
Slow down! ゆっくり話す！
Keep your sentences short 短い文で話す
Avoid slang, idioms, and complicated vocabulary 口語、イディオムや複雑な単語は避ける
Enunciate clearly はっきりと発音する
Be an active listener 積極的に聞く
Be comfortable with silence 沈黙を受け入れる

There is no such thing as a stupid question! 「馬鹿な質問」なんてありません
If you don’t understand something, please ask 何かを理解しないのであれば、聞いて下さい
If someone is speaking too quickly, ask them to slow down 相手が話すスピードが速すぎるの
であれば、もっとゆっくり話すように依頼して下さい
Raise your hand when you want to say something 発言したい時には、手を上げて下さい
