3. INTRODUCTION:
Designing an online database management system
for training & placement cell
Two Roles-
Administrator
User
User accounts to students
Controls to operate database to administrator
4. PROGRESS IN MINI-PROJECT:
Whole database is designed
Single form is created to enter the data
Administrator side controls are provided
6. PROGRESS IN ONGOING PROJECT:
User:
User accounts provided
Personal information form included
Administrator:
Controls to update schedule and history provided
32. CONCLUSION:
This project will successfully implement the
database technology to transform the manual T&P
database management system into a automated
format
All goals set for first phase of the project are
implemented successfully
34. PRINTING CAMPUS PROCEDURE SLIP:
T&P cell provides each student with a slip
Students fill the details by hand
The system will directly print out the slip dynamically with
the data for each student
35. EXPORTING TO EXCEL SHEET:
The data in the database can be exported to the excel
sheets
This data can be either of selected students or of all the
students
These excel sheets can be easily used to give students
details to companies, to take a quick look on database,
etc.
36. PRINTING LIST:
The list of students, either all or selected can be directly
printed from the system
37. EMAIL & SMS:
Administrator will be able to send email to-
All the students
Selected students
Using contact numbers in the database, SMS to the
selected students or all students can be sent
Group SMS
38. OTHER ADDITIONS:
Applying some more filters
Displaying selected students list dynamically
Once student is marked as ‘selected’ in the database, his name
will be automatically included in this list, which will be visible at
the user side
