2. What is a Liger?
A liger is mainly an offspring of a male lion
and a female tiger. They are the largest cats and
very rarely seen in the wild. The average
weight of an adult liger is approximately 700 lb
(320 kg) and reaching about 10 feet (3.05 m)
long.
3. Habitat
Most ligers are seen in sanctuaries and zoos. A
very few ligers are released in the wild and
therefore they are rarely seen in the wild. Their
main habitat is a wildlife sanctuary.
4. Predators
Their often predators are lions, tigers or any
other cats that are more vicious than them. But
their mainly predators are us, the humans. This
also makes us at the top of the food chain.
5. Prey
Ligers mostly prey on any animal smaller than
their size. They even prey on humans if
unarmed. Ligers are carnivorous and they
mostly eat meat from animals.
