Tropical Rainforest
Facts
•The latitude range for rainforest climate is 15° to 25°
North and South of the equator.
The average temperature of a rain forest is about 77°
Fahrenheit.
The lowest is  64° Fahrenheit.
And the highest is about 77° Fahrenheit.
Its usually hot most of the times in the Rainforest.
Average precipitation in the Rainforest is 75 inches.
There is elephants, snakes, tigers, birds, and other type
of animals in the Rainforest.
There is is Bengal Bamboo, Bougainvillea, Curare and
Coconut Tree.
Abiotic, and Biotic
• Abiotic means non-living things in a biome
or ecosystem
• Biotic means living things in a biome or
ecosystem.
Abiotic, and biotic
• abiotic factors are like water, rocks, dirt and
other non-living things.
• biotic are humans, animals, trees, and other
living things.
Definitions
Plants are called producers. This is because they produce their own food!
They do this by using light energy from the Sun, carbon dioxide from the
air and water from the soil to produce food - in the form of glucose/sugar.
Primary consumers are usually herbivores, feeding on plants and
fungus. Secondary consumers, on the other hand, are mainly
Carnivorous and prey other animals. Tertiary consumer is a carnivore at
the topmost level in a food chain that feeds on other carnivores; an
animal that feeds only on secondary consumers. Decomposers are an
organism, especially a soil bacterium, fungus, or invertebrate, that
decomposes organic material.

Environmental Issues
• The Tropical Rainforest environmental
issue is deforestation. People are
cutting trees to much.They are
making animals homeless.They are
using trees for papers and other
things that are used for wood.
Replanting the trees could end
deforestation and animals that have
lost there homes could get new ones
not.
