It is basically a structure composed of a platform and two wheels placed transversely driven by two electric motors. The system itself is stabilized by sophisticated electronic circuitry which controls the motors, taking into account not only the movements of the driver, but also the state of the vehicle, allowing it to remain always in a vertical position. The driver standing on the platform controls the running speed simply by moving the steer knob forward or backward, while the inclination to the right or left, allows turns. The mechanism that allows the Segway not to fall down is at same time brilliant and intuitive: engines give power in case you lean forward and less if you lean backwards. Obviously the control board are powered by appropriate motion sensors (similar to those that allow smartphones to change the orientation of the display) to alert the on-board microprocessor constantly on the exact orientation of the vehicle. The real secret of the Segway is not so much in the electro-mechanical part, but in the code that takes into account the physics implemented with a significant mathematical complexity.

Two-wheeled self-balancing robot is a popular model in control system experiments which is more widely known as inverted pendulum and cart model. This is a multi-input and multi-output system which is theoretical and has been applied in many systems in daily use. Anyway, most research just focus on balancing this model through try-on experiments or by using simple form of mathematical model. There were still few researches that focus on complete mathematic modeling and designing a mathematical model based controller for such system. This paper analyzed mathematical model of the system. Then, the authors successfully applied a Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controller for this system. This controller was tested with different case of system condition. Controlling results was proved to work well and tested on different case of system condition through simulation on matlab/Simulink program.

In modern developing world, automatic plays important role especially two-wheeler i.e., (motorcycle and bikes) plays a major role .Even though they are helpful there are some sad events like accidents due to careless of rider. Major accidents occur due to forgetting of lifting side stand. To rectify this problem many advance measure have taken, but they are useless, so as a by considering that it should be implemented practically in all types bikes the new system “SPROCKET SIDE STAND RETRIEVE SYSTEM” this system can be attached in all type of two-wheeler (mopeds, geared, non-geared, hand geared bikes) and it is designed based on the working principal of bikes.

Patients having injuries and physical disabilities and with good mental health face a lot of difficulty when using the conventional hand powered wheelchair. This project enables an economic assembly in any existing wheelchair that enables a smart system for automated motion which can be controlled by any Smartphone. The concept particularly mentions ‘Smartphone’ which covers devices like any Android powered mobile phone which have inbuilt 3 axis accelerometer and Bluetooth Wireless technology. The functionality can be extended to other mobile devices using a suitable application. The other end of the system has a micro controller powers the DC motor for linear motion of the wheelchair. The DC motor connected to the rear wheels enables linear motion. This is an android based automated wheelchair that can be used by differently able. • It uses android based Smartphone’s which have inbuilt axis accelerator sensors and Bluetooth wireless technology. • The proposed concept exploits these features of the smart phones to use at as a transmitter and control device. • This is an android based automated wheelchair that can be used by differently able. • It uses android based Smartphone’s which have inbuilt axis accelerator sensors and Bluetooth wireless technology. • The proposed concept exploits these features of the smart phones to use at as a transmitter and control device.

The traditional angle sensor in angle measurement of vehicle has some disadvantages such as low stability, low reliability and anti-interference ability. Based on inertiadeviceshas a high sensitivity and little affected by magnetic interference in the measurement of angle .It does not rely on external information and stability advantages. Using gyroscopes, is developed to replace the traditional method for measuring the angle of angle sensor for vehicle, and random error in measurement results are filtered. The programme uses a CRS03-04S gyro, installed on the vehicle front wheel shaft, used to measure the angular speed of the front wheels, in order to calculate the actual angle of the front wheels. Finally, using Kalman filtering to deal with the random error in measurement results separately, so as to provide accurate real-time information around the corner on the steering control. Experimental results show that thisprogramme than with traditional sensor has better stability, reliability, and timeliness, but also is more accurate.

Self-Balancing Two-wheeler (Segway) was once a mysterious invention created by Dean Lawrence Kamen. The Self-Balancing Two-wheeler (Segway) Human Transporter is a personal transport device that uses a built-in computer to remain upright. The aim of this project is to mimic the design of the Self-Balancing Two-wheeler (Segway) and build a low-cost Segway. The first stage of this project is to design the mechanical structure of the transport device. According to different power and functional requirements, different mechanical and electronic components have been chosen for the implementation. The rider shifting weight and a manual turning mechanism on the handlebar are used to control the speed and direction of the Self-Balancing Two-wheeler (Segway). Gyroscope and variable resistor are used to monitor user’s physical motion. The Segway is an intelligent vehicle which uses gyroscopic sensors to detect the motion of rider, so that he can accelerate, brake or steer the vehicle. The conventional Segway available in the market are very costly as they are not available locally. Bygen Ltd. is a highly innovative startup company that is currently developing and commercializing a new disruptive transmission technology for the electric vehicles. Bygen has developed a fully electric powertrain that is capable of increasing the driving range of electric vehicles in combined city traffic and highway driving by more than 50% in any road-speed conditions. By using new concept of mechanical technology it is possible to build a highly efficient fully electric multispeed transmission system for electric vehicles. Bygen's transmission system has no hydraulics to control clutch, which enables transmission to be light and tiny. This also makes it possible to be "in-wheel" type, which lifts efficiency higher. Much lowering cost is expected to contribute electric vehicle industry to expand faster and higher than ever.

Tracing the root cause of a performance issue requires a lot of patience, experience, and focus. It’s so hard that we sometimes attempt to guess by trying out tentative fixes, but that usually results in frustration, messy code, and a considerable waste of time and money. This talk explains how to correctly zoom in on a performance bottleneck using three levels of profiling: distributed tracing, metrics, and method profiling. After we learn to read the JVM profiler output as a flame graph, we explore a series of bottlenecks typical for backend systems, like connection/thread pool starvation, invisible aspects, blocking code, hot CPU methods, lock contention, and Virtual Thread pinning, and we learn to trace them even if they occur in library code you are not familiar with. Attend this talk and prepare for the performance issues that will eventually hit any successful system.
