3. The Celts were people that lived in some parts
of Europe lots of years ago.

4. They were
from
different
parts of
Europe:
- Scotland.
- Ireland
- Wales
- Bretagne
(France) and
Galicia.

5. They lived in little houses in villages.

6. In Galicia there were
some of these villages

SANTA MARIÑA

7. Their houses were circular and
made of stone and straw

8. Some houses here in
Galicia are
similar to the Celtic
houses

9. There is rock art in
all these countries

WOODEN PLATE SANDPAPER
WOOD STAIN BRUSHES

17. ACETATE RAZOR KNIFE
GOLDEN PAINT STICKY TAPE

18. HOW TO DO CELTIC PLATES
1.-Look for the pattern
you want to paint
on your plate and draw
it on a piece of acetate.
(Be aware that
not all the patterns
are good for this work.)
2.- With a razor knife
go along the lines
of the pattern
and cut until you have
created the template to paint.
Pay attention
to leave lines of acetate
in between the spaces
you will paint)

19. 3.-Rub the plate
with sandpaper
4.-Paint the plate
with wood stain
and let it dry.

20. 5.-Rub the plate
with sandpaper
and clean it.
6.-Place the template
on the plate and paint
with golden paint.
7.-Remove the template
8.-Nail a pin at the back
and hang it!
