2. It is October 2007. It is a warm, sunny day ,
Two archeologists and three workmen
are on the Acropolis of Athens
and they are too busy !
3. They are transferring
sculptures of the
Parthenon to the new
Acropolis museum . .
Three huge wooden
packages will be
transferred
the following day .
They are
full of statuettes
and valuable pieces of
marble from the frieze
and the metopes
of the Parthenon.
4. Although it rains
heavily during the
night ,
the guards are
patrolling
the hill of Acropolis
and keeping an eye
on the packages .
5. The next morning an
archaelogist notices that
one of the packages
has been forced
and statuette No 313
is missing !
7. Where do the footsteps lead them ?

at the car park

on the wooden box
13. The police keep watching for the thief
at the car park .
3 days later
a suspicious looking man appears !
He is wearing a black coat , boots ,
A a black hat and dark glasses.
.
14. He walks around the car park ,
approaches the car and looks inside .
Then he walks towards some bushes
at the edge of the park.
15. What happens next ?
•He sits down to have some rest .
•He takes something from behind the bush
•He opens a map
• and tries to find his way
16. The suspect looks for something
behind the bushes.
He picks up a heavy object ,
hides it under his coat
and walks towards the car.
He unlocks the car boot
and puts the object inside .
17. Then …
he unlocks the driver’s door
and when he is about to start
the engine…
18. Two policemen
in plain clothes
appear out of the blue !
They pull him out of the car ,
pull his glasses and …
