Grouted mattress lining provides the most cost-effective application compared to conventional concrete and clay geosynthetic methods, costing around 162500 INR per 1000 meters. Clay geosynthetic and grouted mattress linings are easier to install than concrete since they require less heavy equipment, labor, and have a faster construction period. Clay geosynthetic in particular minimizes environmental impact by reducing the need for cement trucks compared to concrete.
