Living in Washington DC, Reid Walker serves as the director of communications for U. S. Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington State. From his office in Washington DC, Walker serves as a spokesman for the senator on matters ranging from healthcare to energy, and drafts speeches and op-ed pieces. Prior to joining Senator Cantwell’s office, Walker worked for the U.S. Senate Indian Affairs Committee, also in Washington DC. Reid previously was a principal at Incite in Seattle, Washington, developing branding for start-up companies. He moved there from T-Mobile, where he led a team of 42 employees leading media relations, internal communications, philanthropic and social media efforts.
