technologies from the process of

2. • Using the digital SLR camera helped me to
make my magazine look professional because
it enabled me to upload my photos onto the
computer quickly and easily, this led to me
being able to edit my photos quickly through
Adobe Photoshop using by using image
manipulation.

3. Photoshop
• By using image manipulation in Photoshop I was
able to cut out my photos quickly and effectively.

4. InDesign
• InDesign helped me to kern and lead my writing, as well as making

5. Blogging
• By using blogger I was able to keep track of
what I had done, and what I still needed to do.
It was also good to have a place to keep all of
my work so I could see what needed to be
improved.

6. • Google helped me to research into existing
magazines, so that I could find a gap in the
market and also see what urban/hip hop
magazines looked like.
• I also used facebook which enabled me to
contact my audience focus group easily to get
their opinions on my design ideas.

7. Overall I think that technology was useful in the
process of making my magazine because it
helped me to make my magazine look
professional, as well as allowing me to get
good research and be able to contact my
audience focus group easily. Through a
mixture of computer software, the internet
and social networking websites.
