5. EXISTING APPRENTICESHIP PROVIDER WITH NON-LEVY
HISTORICAL DELIVERY AT OR BELOW £1.5M FOR 2015-2016

whichever is lower

• Cap Based on Company Turnover
• Existing provider that delivers below £1.5m
worth of apprenticeships to Non-Levy
employers (a notice was issued by the ESFA in
May outlining these figures)
• Exiting Contract with a turnover of
£1,400,000 = £1,400,000 x 1.25 =£1,750,000
however the maximum is restricted to
£1,500,000 for the Contract Allocation
6. EXISTING APPRENTICESHIP PROVIDER WITH NON-LEVY
HISTORICAL DELIVERY ABOVE £1.5M FOR 2015-2016

• 110% of non-levy
historical delivery for
2015/2016 funding year
(1st August 2015 – 31st
July 2016), multiplied by
1.25

• Cap Based on historical Non Levy Turnover
• Exiting Contract delivering £1,510,000 of
apprenticeships to Non-Levy employers
£ 1,510,000 x 110% = £1,661,000
£1,661,000 x 1.25 = £2,076,250 for the Contract
Allocation based on existing delivery
• Exiting Contract delivering £2,000,000 of
apprenticeships to Non-Levy employers
£2,000,000 of, x 110% = £2,200,000
£ 2,200,000 of x 1.25 = £2,750,000 for the
Contract Allocation based on existing delivery
