What is Web traffic?
Web Traffic is the total amount of data viewed, sent and received by
visitors on a particular website. Web traffic is generating when
people visit your webpages to receive quality content or
information.
The main aim of any website is to generate web traffic and later rank
it under Search Engine Optimization (SEO). When web traffic of a
website increases, it will automatically rank the website high. But too
much traffic can dramatically slow down all access to your website
which may hang your server or shut down your web services.

Direct Traffic

3. Direct Traffic is a traffic which is defined as web traffic that does not have a
referral to visit your website. It means that the visitor didn’t want to click a link
from another site to visit your page.
Thus, it is also known as Non-Referral traffic. In this traffic, visitors manually
enter the URL of the website or click on the bookmark link to see information.
But the impact rate of direct traffic is quite low on SERP (approx.20%).
Referral Traffic
Referral traffic is one of the most important web traffic where traffic occurs
when a visitor visits your webpage through a referral website. It is a method of
increasing a page rank in which people visit you through backlinks build in
different websites.
It is therefore called Inorganic traffic. Increasing referral traffic is not easy

Paid Traffic

through links contained in the emails that you send. The primary reason for
sending mails in email traffic is to persuade the customers prospects to buy your
products or services.
