Thank you for submitting the following abstract for consideration to be included in the
program of the 1st
EdSSIC
Abstract ID :0038 The application of policies carried out in the era of the
industrial revolution 4.0 is increasing become a tough
challenge for a government organization in general. Right now
the world too continue to be confronted with volatility,
uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA). practically it is
also increasing, especially in the midst of the Covid-19
pandemic such as what can be said at this time is not over.
Especially in making policies and organizational governance
good government and agile in all fields, not only government
but alsoin the economic field of government at this time.
Pekanbaru city tourism office at this time is a sub-organization
of government that is also not immune from these challenges.
However Thus, their operational activities are reflected in four
movements namely: student tearth generation, inclusion
campaign, implementation of activities, and very important
organization government activities have become hampered
due to the effects of the Covid-19.
The method used is education or increased understanding of
50 participants regarding policy dimensions, adaptive
organizational governance strategies, and the importance of
building an adaptive mindset.
Based on community research activities that have been
carried out, implications are obtained significant understanding
of the aspects of policy, strategy and governance, and mindset
to adapt. This was reinforced by the following results: First,
The educational material provided has positive implications for
increasing knowledge and operational capabilities of
participants. This is evidenced by the number of participants
who answered material suitable for increasing knowledge,
namely by 90% (forty five out of 50 participants) and who
answered the material accordingly to improve operational
capabilities participants namely 86% (43 of 50 participants).
Second, the implementation of activities is satisfactory
because 42 out of 50 participants (84%) expressed
satisfaction.
