Nodal credit is a tier 1 financial forecasting application used to forecast liquidity and
collateral requirements to the nodal market. Credit is a risk mitigation application
where Luminant’s Credit exposure will be closely monitored against ERCOT’s credit
exposure.

The dependency and availability of data from ERCOT and internal Luminant
applications is currently not monitored and causes significant issues to Nodal
applications and users querying data from the ODS. The Operational Alerts projects
goal is to notify Capgemini AM groups of issues with data prior Luminant business
users determining an issue exists.

Project Description:
Aligne Trade & Risk Management (TRM) helps energy market participants to
effectively manage the complexities of trading power, natural gas, oil, emissions and
weather for both physical and financial instruments. By integrating all the data from
front‐to‐back office trading operations, energy companies are able to efficiently and
confidently identify and manage risk.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Analyzing the Requirements.
 Developing the business process logic for the application.
 Following the best practices and coding standard.
