2. What's the best news you've ever
heard?
Was it surprising? Did it change the way
you think? Or was it something you
wanted to be true but didn't dare hope?
• Christianity Explored is a relaxed and informal
way of sharing the best news you can ever
hear, and gives people space and time to think
about the big questions of life
• Over seven sessions in Mark’s Gospel, guests
find out more about the life of the person at
the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ
• The structure of each session is simple: a short
Bible study, a thought-provoking 10-15 minute
video, and a discussion based on the video

3. Why are we doing this?
• As the session has been praying and thinking about the
future of this church we have had to acknowledge that
we have been weak in providing opportunities for the
congregation to engage their neighbors and friends with
the good news.
• The door is always open to invite others to join us in
worship, or come see the story of Christmas portrayed
with “Stories in the Park,” or even to invite them to a
small group with you.
• But we were asking, “What ministries are available that
provide a clear, effective presentation of the good news
that is readily accessible to the those who think they
know what Christianity is basically about, and to those
who really don’t know at all?”
• As a “gospel course,” Christianity Explored kept coming
to the top of the list.
