Sandy Kress

Sandy Kress, prominent education reformer, has a long history of major contributions in other areas of civic life in the communities in which he has lived. In Dallas, in the arts, Sandy Kress served on the Boards of Directors of the Dallas Symphony and Stage # 1 Theater, where he served as President of the Board. Kress has also been active in religious life. He served on the Board of Directors of Temple Emanu-El in Dallas and Congregation Kol Halev in Austin, where he also served for a year as President. He served on the Jewish Community Relations Council in Dallas and now serves on the Board of the Jewish Community Association of Austin with the portfolio of adult education.
