The Penang International HALAL Expo & Conference (PIHEC) is an annual event whose 7th edition
is going to be held from the 29th to 31st January 2016. This trade fair is hosted and organised by
the Penang State Government of Malaysia every year under its halal facilitation organization known
as Halal Penang. The event is the perfect platform for exhibitors and traders belonging to Southeast
Asia, Europe and West Asia to promote their goods and find potential markets for them.
The event was first started in 2010, and its prime purpose was to aid in the sourcing and selling of
top quality domestic and international halal products and services. It is the best place for exporters
and importers to source out local as global goods from Northern Malaysia and IMTT-GT region.
The venue for the 7th edition is going to be Setia sPICE (formerly known as PISA) in Penang. Quite
a few sub-events are held at the three day trade show, and one of the most notable among them is
the Penang International Halal Conference. The conference is meant to be a one-stop centre for the

62,818 visitors, and these numbers are expected to rise further in the 7th edition.
