This document outlines plans for diversion-based irrigation projects in the Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts of Odisha, India between 2012-2014. The projects aimed to bring over 100 acres of land under irrigation, build capacity of over 50 farmers, and generate local employment. Key activities included community mobilization, surveys, implementation planning, capacity building, and documentation. Challenges encountered included non-feasible sites, lack of community cooperation, and restrictions within protected forest areas. The projects have since identified new sites, conducted surveys and orientation, and built capacity of local implementing teams.

3. OBJETIVES
1. To bring 80 acres of land under assured Khariff, 15
acres in Rabi and 8 acres of land in summer rop
through pipe flow gravity irrigation system.
2. Capacity Building of 51 farmers to take up improved
irrigated agriculture.
3. Creating employment opportunity in the village
itself.
4. Improving the socio-economic condition of the
people who depends on agriculture
