3. Eating a meal with Kids
Though it may sound difficult to do given to the
different schedules of everyone in the family,
plan having at least dinner together. If not daily,
at least 3 nights a week.

5. Talk with Your Children
Please note- you should talk WITH your
children and not TO them. Talking with
them ensures two-way communication. So,
share the happenings in your day with
them ask about theirs.

6. What did I do Good Today
Introduce a time during the day when all of
you share one good thing that you did in your
day. This would encourage your children to
go through their day with more
consciousness and work on good activities
deliberately.

7. One Parent One Child
It is a great idea that once a week one
parent spends quality time with one of the
children, while the other child is with the
other parent. Other day of the week you
interchange. This gives each child an
opportunity to bond with each parent and
to feel special.

10. Discuss Your Childhood
Stories
Share stories from your childhood
about the adventures you did,
punishments you got, and the
moments you learnt some bitter
lesson. As they will love to know about
the real you, otherwise many children
end up feeling that they cannot
measure up to their parents.

11. Appreciation time
Once a week do the activity to appreciate
members in the family. Pass an appreciation
bowl among the members where everyone writes
one good point about every other member. This
turns out to be a great idea where each one gets
their share of appreciation.
