Sylvester is a Professor in Game Science, based at Coventry University’s Disruptive Media Learning Lab (DMLL.org.uk), UK. He was previously a Reader and Senior Research Fellow at the DMLL, Senior Researcher at the Serious Games Institute, a Research Fellow at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), University of Warwick and a lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. His research interests include the application and impact of play and games science (playful learning, serious games, gamification, game design thinking) in teaching and learning. He is also a trained LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator.
