PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Scott Anderson has specialized in industrial real estate brokerage since 1998.
Scott is a results-oriented high-energy, innovative and self-directed individual with experience
servicing a wide spectrum of corporate clients. He concentrates on assisting third-party logistics firms,
manufacturers and transportation companies with distribution centers throughout the United States.
He also focuses on projects in the Chicago metropolitan area, specifically representing clients in the
acquisition, disposition and development of industrial real estate.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
In 2008, Scott joined Lee & Associates as a Vice President in the firm's industrial group.
Prior to Lee, Scott had been with the firm Cushman & Wakefield for 6 years. His efforts specifically
focused on tenant representation, buyer / seller representation and industrial development including
the redevelopment of industrial sites. He also initiated a program for tracking and maintaining a
database of rail served buildings/sites. Scott is skilled in many aspects of the real estate process
including:
Tenant representation & Build-to-suit projects
Intermodal & rail-served real estate
Property valuation
At Cushman & Wakefield, Scott had been integrally involved in the marketing of a variety of projects
for institutional owners, user owners, and newly developed business parks. Successful at representing
tenants, in 2005 he won the industrial build-to-suit of the year award from Duke Realty Corporation,
and in 2006 his Northlake, Illinois build-to-suit was a NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and
Office Properties) nominee for the industrial redevelopment of the year.
Scott's brokerage career began in 1998 at Grubb & Ellis. As a transaction advisory professional
within the firm's industrial group, Scott quickly established a track record for success in representing
the interests of tenants, landlords and owners in the Chicago metropolitan area. Scott received
several Certificate of Completion awards from the Grubb & Ellis University program.
