2. WeRun offers the unique opportunity to run with
friends across the globe. Aimed at keen runners of all
ages, a user of WeRun simply logs in to their
personal fitness account, sets up a distance and
handicap, and runs as normal with their WeRun app
guiding them through the course, encouraging them
to keep going. The winner of the race gets not only
the prize of getting fitter, but also gains points to
earn a place on the leader board, and can easily post
about their success on a range of social media.

3. It is aimed at middle aged people who want to
get fit through running with their friends.
People who struggle to get fit can be
encouraged by this application by allowing them
to run with their friends no matter how far away
they are from each other.
You can use this app whenever you want from
beating your friends score to just running in
peace.

4. What do people think?
We told people about our app and asked them if
they would download it.
70% of the people that we asked said that they
would download our app.

5. From the people we asked, 66% of the people
who said they wouldn’t get our app would have
if they ever went running.
The other 33% said that they would never get
our app.
This shows that if people were interested in
running on a regular basis they would download
our app.

6. How can we run with our friends
without being with them?
Our app allows you to run with your
friends at the same time but in different
places. You can keep track of how well your
friend is running and can even arrange a
race without even seeing each other.

7. What problem is our app solving?
Our app is solving the issue of demotivation
while running. When running with friends you
are pushed to be better than your friends and
can improve greatly within a short amount of
time.

8. Strava is a

WeRun, and
does allow you
to compare
your results to
your friends’,
however it does
NOT allow you
to race your
friend at the
same time.

• If you do not have an account it will be easy to
sign up.
• We have made many different options to sign
in or share your progress on Facebook and
twitter etc.
• We have included a map to help improve your
experience with our app.

13. Feasibility
We have made our app as convenient as
possible by making the screen simple to use. We
have made an easy to access layout with a
smooth running app. We have used the least
amount of screens as we can to make it easier
for you.

14. Business model
The main feature of our app is to be able to run
with friends. This feature is original and a very
useful tool for the people who use our app.
We have made our app easier to use than other
running apps and completely stress free.

15. One of the marketing activities is to make an
advert/video showing what our app is.
In the video we used cheap and effective ways
to make our advert enjoyable and informative.
We also did a survey so that we could gain
feedback on our app. This is a simple and
effective way to find out what our users would
think of our app.

We have made our own website to tell people
all about our app.
