data system (EDS) in 2005
•Collection of patient level information on all ART patients
– Registration, vitals, nurse visits, clinical care, and
dispensing records
•Uses touch screen technology
•Label scanners and printers facilitate easier monitoring
and supervision for blood samples and drug dispensing.
•Near completeness of patient level data from 2006
onward.
•All patient EDS data is accessed through an Access
database for effective monitoring and evaluation
