2. Celtic Innovations The Celts were the first people to invent plaid. Warriors wore there color variation of plaid in battle to represent there home land. Each clan, province, group etc. contained their own color or design. This color was how other clans and groups distinguished who they were and where they are from. 3. Stonehenge Stone Henge is a prehistoric monument thought to have been used for ritual or religious purposes. This beautiful monument is located in the county of Wiltshire, England. 4. Celtic Houses in Britain The Celtic population was a very warlike clan of people. During battle the Celts would wear many obscure things to put fear in their enemies eyes. The picture in the center is an actual war helmet from the Celtic society, and on the right is a golden torc worn around the neck to show honor and glory, but also to help guard the neck area.
