3. Novalis Tx Treatment
San Diego Radiosurgery treats tumors with a nonsurgical treatment
called stereotactic radiosurgery. Typically treatment is completed
within five sessions. Patients can usually return to their normal
routines once treatment is complete.

During treatment, high doses of radiation are delivered to
tumors with pinpoint precision. A typical treatment session takes
about 15 minutes and does not require surgery or sedation. Due
to the extreme accuracy of radiation delivery, side effects, if any,
are usually minor and temporary.
