How to use a tripod

2. Step 1
Get the tripod out of its case carefully, making sure
you don’t drop it. Get the legs bit out first and place It
onto the floor.

3. Step 2
Open the legs of the tripod, making it flat and balanced
and then clipping the sides so that it is secure.

4. Step 3
You can adjust the height of the tripod by un doing the
clips of the legs and lifting it to the height you would
like. Then, clip the sides so that it is secure.

5. Step 4
Check to see of the ‘spirit level’ of the tripod is level, if
not you can adjust it using the screw underneath. The
spirit level needs to be level so that the footage is
balanced.

6. Step 5
Take of the base by releasing the clip on the side and
holding on to the red button. Then add the camera onto
the base with the screw.

7. Step 6
Slide the camera back on to the tripod, make sure it is
balanced.

8. Step 7
Check if the camera is at eye match and ready for
filming.
