I did my M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Then I did my Ph.D. in Biotechnology entitled: Isolation and characterization of folding intermediates of mammalian serum albumins. During my postdoctorate in NII, New Delhi, I have purified a novel protease inhibitor like protein from Cucumis melo (watermelon seeds), for the purpose of crystallization. During my last 8 years of research, I have published 16 international papers in peer reviewed journals, with an average impact factor of 2.5.
