synchronised gearbox with inverter, 12 forward

a complete speed range in both drive directions.

4. Working in all situations
In a unique style
It is plain to see that the tractors from the
Tigrone Series are special: it is enough to look
at their simple yet harmonious design with
their curved streamlined mudguards that allow
them agile movement in all situations, even in
the presence of foliage and lateral obstacles.
Their personality is revealed when being driven and
put to the test in the most diverse situations.
Agile and safe on all types of ground the models
from the Tigrone Series solve all problems thanks
to the independent PTO and the synchronised
PTO that allow maximum versatility of use
and fully exploit the engine’s power. The final
reducers on the rear wheels guarantee good
ground clearance and better performance
when using grubbers, cultivators and ploughs.

ACTIO Full Chassis with Oscillation:
A record for grip and manageability
The ACTIO™ system consists of a powerful, steel section
which forms an integral part of the axle, which houses both a
front and rear transmission and has an articulated joint which
allows for longitudinal oscillation of a good 15 degrees.
Thanks to the ACTIO ™ system, the tractor acts as a single
unit, made up of two parts with the same mass and dimension
which oscillate independently of each other following
the contours and different gradients of the terrain,
thereby maintaining constant stability and perfect grip.
Its overhanging engine is positioned on the forecarriage: this
allows the total weight of the tractor to be redistributed - 60%
of its weight on the front axle and 40% on the rear one. Ideal
balance that becomes almost perfect when rear equipment
is fitted: 50% on the front and 50% on the rear.
Furthermore, the ACTIO™ system provides for the use of four
large equal wheel drive. In this way there is better grip and
the engine is able to ground all of its power with consequent
advantages in terms of productivity and safety. The wheels are
available in a vast range of diameters and with different
tyre profiles in order to satisfy all requirements and to create
optimum configuration according to the type of ground and usage.

• Central, lower drive position = the prolonged use of the tractor is less stressful with
respect to more traditional tractors; greater protection for the operator.

• Doubling of the total mass of the tractor and ample lateral oscillation = the two
parts of the tractor counterbalance each other thereby maintaining maximum adherence of
the tyres to the ground.

balanced weight distribution.
6. Reduced turning circle:
Great operational advantages
Thanks to their exclusive chassis, integral
traction and particularly compact dimensions,
the articulated tractors from the Tigrone Series
are able to steer in even narrower spaces
compared with traditional models and to
manoeuvre with exceptional speed on any
type of ground even in difficult situations.
A feature that is valued at all times and
translates into a notable optimisation of
operating times and a reduction in operator
fatigue. The manageability and ease of drive are
also guaranteed by the new hydraulic steering:
sensitive and responsive in order to reduce
fatigue, improve control and increase the vehicle’s
active safety by ensuring rapid disengagement in
the case of difficulty and unexpected problems.

7. Active and passive safety:
A totally safe line
In the Tigrone Series models the Antonio Carraro research has
looked to take care of all the details associated with guaranteeing
maximum active and passive safety levels by surrounding
the operator with careful attention and special solutions.
The ACTIO™ chassis keeps the centre of gravity particularly
low even in very difficult circumstances. In addition to this
there is the electohydraulically controlled rear differential
lock which along with the mechanically controlled front
differential lock rules out the risk of dangerous sliding.
The rear brakes have hydraulically controlled oil bath
disks that do not suffer from wear and tear and do not need
to be adjusted thus guaranteeing braking in confined spaces.
The use of brakes on both the front and rear has granted it
homologation for speeds up to 40 Km/h (SX 8400).

8. Ergonomics and
comfort: Two highly
productive concepts
The Tigrone Series reaches new heights in comfort and
ergonomics allowing its driver to cope with hours of work every
day without experiencing stress and still obtaining great results.
Protective, comfortable and accessible, the drive position
offers a perfectly comfortable space with all of its controls in
a logical sequence, new concept pedals and levers as well as
optimal visibility of the front of the tractor and its control board.
The latter is fitted with a dashboard with “on-off” LED so as to
keep the situation well under control whatever the light conditions.
SERIES TIGRONE A TRADITIONAL TRACTOR
The platform is positioned directly above the rear axel, in the best position
to obtain optimum stability even when coping with obstacles or difficult
ground. Lastly, a convenient glove compartment is situated on the driver’s
side: an extra touch to make sure that all is easily and quickly at hand.

Engines:
An efficient ecological choice
The independent PTO with oil bath multidisk
clutch allows speeds of 540 rpm (540E and
1000 rpm on request). Gradual engagement
and optimal power yield make for accurate and
comfortable work that is also highly productive.
The synchronised PTO has the
same forward speed as the tractor
and is ideal for use with a trailer.
The Tigrone Series is the only range of
tractors on the market that offers two
shafts for the PTOs thus guaranteeing the
use of a vast range of equipment and reducing
the wear and tear on the shafts themselves.
Three different devices are standard
for equipment attachment (hydraulic
lift with three point hitch, trailer hook and
hydraulic outlets) and guarantee maximum
versatility of use: from specialised agriculture
to green area management, all with just
one compact multifunctional tractor.

engine capacities, each one has been designed

Engine performance is further enhanced by
the special design solutions of the bodywork.
The shaped front grille and the side screens
guarantee ideal thermal exchange
even in extreme weather conditions. The
complete vertical opening of the bonnet

All of the models from the Tigrone Series are
fitted with new concept transmissions
with a synchronised gearbox set with 12
forward and 12 reverse speeds. This allows
for the most appropriate speed to be
chosen in a logical sequence according to
the task at hand, the situation and the ground
with the greatest of ease and versatility.
Another fundamental characteristic is the
inverter that permits the movement from
forward to reverse gear and vice versa.
An excellent advantage especially during
activities that require frequent and repetitive
changes in direction such as when working
between rowed crops or in particularly
confined spaces saving time and effort.
The large clutch with gentle engagement
further reduces operator stress. In addition
there is no need for adjustment because the
hydraulic control automatically recovers any
wear due to prolonged use over time.
