Responsibilities: Responsible for the strategy and implementation of Cell C media, at Head office and
Marketing Spend. Directing and guiding Creative, Media and below the line agencies on campaigns, budget
planning and control
Monitoring competitor activity.
Involvement in the planning stages with the Brand Managers and Marketing Director. The management of
Budgets was done on a weekly and monthly basis to Marketing Director, CEO and CFO. Ensuring that media
and communication spend was in line with Budgets across Retail and Brand.
Skills Developed: Was at the control centre of launching a new cellular brand into the market, which had to
compete competitively with two major brands on a limited budget. Keeping abreast in a fiercely competitive
market and the creative use of media helped launch Cell C successfully.
