3. Lalbagh Fort is the most popular and
renowned fort and a great signature of art by
Mughal Emperor in Bangladesh. It is also
known as Fort Aurangabad. It is situated in
Lalbagh of old Dhaka, thats why names so. It
is situated by the bank of the river Buriganga in
a rich red soil. It was an incomplete structure
by a Mughal Emperor named Prince
Muhammad Azam (third son of Aurangazeb).
He started the work of the fort in 1678 during
his vice royality in Bangladesh (Previous
Bengal). He stayed in Bengal for 15 months. It
remained incomplete when he was called by
his father Aurangazeb

4. Ahsan Manzil
Ahsan Manzil is an attractive tourist
spot in Dhaka. It is one of the most
meaningful architectural heritage of
Bangladesh. It is situated in Old
Dhaka on the bank of the river
Buriganga. The area is called
Kumartuli in Islampur. Here you you’ll
enjoy the feeling of the lifestyle of the
Nawabs of Dhaka. The pink palace
was actually built by Nawab Sir
Abdul Gani in 1872, and was
reconstructed after the tornado of
1888. Now it has been established

Saint Martin is a small but very beautiful coral
Island of Bangladesh. The Island is a very quiet,

coconut trees that’s why its local name is Narikel
Jinjira. Overnight staying in St. Martins Island is
really an exotic feeling where you will feel and

7. Mahasthan Garh
The word ‘Mahasthan’ means a place that has
excellent sanctity and ‘garh’ means fort. The
extensive ruins of Mahasthangarh presents a
glorious past of about two thousand and five
hundred years of Pundranagar, the capital city
of ancient Pundra Vardhan Bhukti. The site
spreading along the western bank of Korotoa,
is situated about 13 km north of Bogra town.
This earliest and largest city of entire Bengal,
dated back to at least the 3rd century B.C., is
fortified successively by mud and brick wall. It
measures 1,525 miter long North-South,
1,370 miter broad East-West, and 5 miter high
above the surrounding level. The river in the
east and a deep moat on the west, south, and
north served as additional defense apart from
the citadel wall
8. Sonadia Island
It is about seven kilometer of
Cox's Bazar and about nine
square kilometer in area. The
western side of the island is
sandy and different kinds of
shells are found on the beach.
Off the northern part of the
island, there are beds of
windowpane oysters. During
winter, fisherman set up
temporary camps on the
island and Dries Sea fishes,
which they catch from Sea.
9. Cox's Bazaar is a small district town.

place in Bangladesh, which is located in the
Razkandi reserve forest, Maulvibazar, Sylhet. It

the Royal Bengal Tiger. Its dense rain

spotted dears, moneys, pythons, wild
