4. Methodology
Types of research design:
We went to some Walton retail outlets and asked the buyers and
customers about their valuable suggestion, opinions and satisfactory
ideas. We searched about Walton mobile on the internet and found
some important information.
5. Sources of data:
Primary source:
personally to the people. We handed questionnaires to the retail outlets and
collected their answer. Then we choose some random prospective buyers and did
that.
Secondary sources:
Secondary data has been collected from the distribution channel of the company,
different texts, research findings, magazines, website, articles etc.

•As many of the common products were barred, we had to choose one
from a limited number of options.
•Walton outlets were not fully able to cooperate with us, as our required
information was confidential.

R.B. Group of Companies Ltd, a leading electrical, electronics and Walton
Chairman of Aget Group Dr. Walton Director (Finance) Abul Basar Howladar,
Managing Director of Seven C Resources Matiur Rahman, Managing Director
of Dean Metal Industries Ahmed Ali and General Manager of Agent Group
Engineer King Lee were also present at the signing ceremony. At the signing
ceremony, Dr. Sultan Abdul Kadir expressed his interest to invest in
Bangladesh saying that Bangladesh can be prosperous because of her plenty
of natural resources and cheap manpower RB Group official said, “The recent
economic meltdown gives Walton a competitive edge as its production cost is
relatively cheaper because of lower wages.” “Many manufacturing plants in
developed countries were shut down following the global meltdown. These
countries are now looking for import from developing countries,” he said. The
company has showed its interest to invest in different sectors in Bangladesh
under the arrangement of RB Group of Companies.

Product:
Walton has good number of product in the market. In the mobile related
sector company produced various types of mobile phone and accessories.
Price:
Walton’s main target market has always been middle-income group. So
they have very careful in setting their price product.
Promotional activities:
Walton has TVCs running in all major satellite channels of Bangladesh in peak
hours targeting their core target customers. Also they have numerous billboard
and advertisements in print media

Walton generally uses its own transport facilities for reaching the product to its
120 plazas and about 700 dealers.

Walton mobiles are long lasting and Walton mobiles are available in the
service center and Walton mobiles are give a new experience.
Most of the respondent thinks that price of Walton mobiles are
reasonable, Walton website provides sufficient information, newspaper
ads are influenced for customers and sales people are well get up.
Most of the respondents think that Walton mobile service center is not
available in necessary place.
19. Conclusion
The company has been running its business with good reputation since
1977.Establishment of Walton HIL to manufacture excellent Mobile
phone, Refrigerator, Air Conditioner etc. Walton HIL is the first company
to introduce advanced research and manufacturing technologies and
equipment for household & commercial in Bangladesh. Walton has truly
redefined Bangladesh from being a consumer country to a producer
country for home appliances.
20. Recommendations
Walton mobile as the brand for customer total satisfaction for available
customer to compete the other company needed some changes in its
strategies-
Switch to Market Penetration Pricing without compromising quality.
Develop gaming consoles like Game boy, PlayStations, X-box and
medical appliances for caring old people through innovative approaches.
Customer Loyalty Program. Yearlong incentives and special offers.
