SYNOPSIS

WORKSHOP TECHNOLOGY provides knowledge to the students regarding methods of measurement and inspection on
of metric ‘V’ screw threads and spur gear. It also covers types of gears and their functions, surface texture,
computerized numerical control, shielded arc welding and rapid prototyping.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLO):

Upon completion of this course, student should be to:

     1.    Explain the basic part and equipments in workshop technology
     2.    Explain the measurement equipments and indexing in workshop technology
     3.    Explain the application of workshop technology process in various manufacturing industry
