Dr. S.S. Solankey is presently working as Assistant Prof.-cum-Jr. Scientist (Olericulture) at Dr. Kalam Agril. College, Kishanganj under Bihar Agril. Univ., Sabour. He acquired his Doctorate in Horticulture from BHU, Varanasi in 2010. He has more than 8 years of experience in teaching and research. His prime targeted area of research is biotic and abiotic stress resistance improvement in vegetables. He has supervised four M.Sc. students and handled several research projects. He has awarded with Best Teacher Award (2016) and Best Researcher Award (2016) by BAU, Sabour and 14 other International/National Awards. He has published 55 research & 7 review papers, 10 books, 41 book chapters, etc.
