A:はい、今週もやってまいりました！Perfume が今年結成 10 周年ということで、11 月 3 日
の、東京ドームでライブを行います。
A: Let’s start this on this week as well!
A: As this year is the 10th Anniversary of the Perfume formation,
A: We’re going to hold a concert at Tokyo Dome on November 3rd.
N,K:はい～！
N,K: Yoo-Hoo!
A:それに向けて Perfume のこの 10 年間を振り返っております。
A: So, for the concert, we’re looking back our 10 years history.
N,K:はい～！
N,K: Yoo-Hoo!
200 年の Perfume を研究せよ。

N:2006 年です～。
N: So, it’s 2006 this week, Yoo-Hoo!
A,K:です～。
A,K: Yoo-Hoo!
K:段々 2010 年が近づいて来ましたね～。
K: 2010 is gradually getting closer.
N:あ～、ホントだね。
N: Oh, you’re right.

2. A:そうですね。
A: Yeah, it’s true.
K:もうだって、2006 年て、あと 4 週ってこと？
K: It’s 2006 this week, that means we have 4 weeks left, you know?
N:ホンマよ。2005 年の 9 月にメジャーデビューをして、2006 年あの 3 枚出してあげるよの、
レコード会社に言われたその 2、3 枚目を 2006 年に出すわけですよ。
N: Yup. So, we made a debut from a major label in September of 2005.
N: And in 2006, we released our 2nd and 3rd singles of 3 CDs.
N: The “We-will-let-you-release-3-CDs” series the record company told us.
A:はいはい。
A: Yes.
K:コンピューターシティーとエレクトロワールド。
K: “Computer City” and “Electro World”
N:でこの時期には、ライブにもお客さんが来てくれるようになったりとか、
N: In this period of time, the number of fans who visit our concerts started to increase.
A:そうだね。秋葉原でももちろんライブはやっていたんですけど。そうなんか、そう言うと
ころでもトリとかね、やらせてもらえるようになったり、ライブハウスはもちろんそんなに
大きくはないですけど、そういうイベントでも、 Perfume さんが出てくれるなら･･･」

A: Yeah, we still perform live concert in Akihabara, and in those stages we started to
become a headliner.
A: We also held live concerts in small music halls, and we were offered to be a
headliner there.
A:表参道 FAB！みたいな。
A: We performed at the places like “Omotesando FAB”!
K:あったね～。
K: Yeah, we went there.
A:石丸デンキソフト２！
A: “Ishimaru Denki soft-2”!
N:とか。
N: Yeah, we sang at that stage, too.
K:アストロホールとか！
K: And “Astro Hall”!
A:とかね。そういうのさ、「Perfume さんが出るなら･･･」とか言ってくれてて。
A: Yeah, places like that. Staffs of those music hall said things like
A: “If Perfume-san would be on our concert event, we would like you to be a headliner”

3. K:結構色んなイベントに出てたよね。
K: We performed at pretty various events.
A:楽しいし、お客さんも曲を覚えてくれて、新しい曲もどんどん増えてくから、ライブもち
ょっとずつこう、変えれるようになって凄い楽しくて、みたいな。
A: We enjoyed that, you know? Our audiences learned our tracks,
A: Number of tracks we could sing increased rapidly,
A: So, it became possible to change our set list little by little,
A: And all those things were so much fun.
N,K:うんうん。
N,K: Yeah.
A:やっぱライブにお客さんが沢山来てくれるとやっぱり嬉しいし、っていう感じだった。
A: I was our joy to have a lot of audiences in our concerts.
N,K:そうだね。
N,K: You’re right.
N:なんかファンの人達とみんなで、浜名湖にバスツアーとか行ったのがこの年なんだって。
N: Oh, it was on this year we took a bus tour to Lake Hamana with our fans.
A:あ～そうなんだ！？
A: Oh! Was it?
K:そうだ。
K: Yeah, that’s right.
N:なんかみんなでバスに乗って、夜宴会みたいな、カラオケ大会とか。
N: We took a bus, and held a banquet and a karaoke contest at night.
K:パジャマ着て
K: In pajamas!
N:パジャマパーティー！
N: Yeah! A Pajama party!
K:パジャマパーティーで 3 人パジャマ着て、みんなもパジャマ着てもらって、 Perfume ク

イズとかやったね。Perfume 検定？
K: Yup, it was a pajama party. We wore pajamas, so did our fans.
K: And we held a quiz contest. Was it “Perfume assay”?
A,N:Perfume 検定。
A,N: Yeah, Perfume assay.
A:なんか問題とか作って。
A: We made quizzes by ourselves.
N,K:うん、そうそう。
N,K: Yes, we did.

4. N:遊園地行ったりね。
N: We also went to an amusement park.
A,K:ね～。
A,K: Yeah!
N:一緒になんかトロッコみたいなのに乗ったりとか。凄い近かったね、距離が。
N: We got on a mine ride kind of things with fans.
N: Distance between us and fans were so close at that time.
A,K:うん。
A,K: Yes.
A:バスのバスのバスさんやったよね？
A: We also played the roll of the bus, bus, eh bus･･･
N,K:バスガイドさん。やったりとか。
N,K: Bus tour guides! Yes, we did.
A:やりましたね～。
A: Yeah, that’s right!
K:色んな事しましたね。
K: We did so many things.
A:うん。で、コンピューター・シティー、1 月にリリースと。
A: Yes. And we released “Computer City” in January.
N,K:はい。
N,K: Yes.
A:でこのコンピューター・シティーがですね、
A: So, this song, Computer City.
N:うん。
N: Yes.
A:あの～、テレビで歌うの･･･、歌うんですよ。
A: Well, we’re going to sing this song in TV program.
A,N:明日！
A,N: Yes, tomorrow!
A:明日、M ステで。初披露ですよ。
A: We’re going to play it for the first time on TV tomorrow, at the Music Station (*1).
A,N,K:やったー！（笑）
A,N,K: HOORAY!
N:何で今？っていうね。
N: ･･･Why now? You might wonder.
K:今更初披露っていうね。

5. K: Isn’t this a bit too late to sing this song for the first time on TV?
A:いや～、4 年かかりましたよ。
A: It took 4 years for us to sing it on TV.
K:4 年越しの思いがね。
K: Our emotions for this song have grown up pretty much in this 4 years
N:4 年越しのコンピューター・シティー M ステだよ！？
N: Yeah, Computer City in the Music Station after 4 years from release! Isn’t this
great?
A:いやでもね、いややっぱりあの、武道館で一曲目にやらしてもらって、あの日は凄いいい
日になって、自分たちにとっても思い入れの強い曲だから、ドームをやる際に、この時のこ
んな勢いをドームでも出したい！こんな勢いで行きたい！という思いを込めて、 M ステさ
んで、やらしていただけると。
A: Well, on the set list of Budokan, Computer City was the first song.
A: With this song, the day of Budokan concert became a special day for us.
A: Also, we really have strong fondness for this song.
A: So, for the Tokyo Dome concert, we would like to recall the momentum we had at
that time with this song.
A: With those emotions we’re going to sing this song in Music Station.
N:はい、明日。生放送だよ～。
N: Yes, Tomorrow. And it’s live broadcasting!
A,K:ですね～！
A,K: Yeah!
A:緊張するね～！
A: Oh, this makes me nervous!
A,N,K:です～！
A,N,K: Yoo-Hoo!LOL!
A,N,K:緊張するです～。（笑）
A,N,K: Yup, this makes us nervous, Yoo-Hoo!(*2)
A:上手い上手い（笑）やっぱりとらえるの上手いね、そういうモノマネ系ね。
A: LOL! You’re so good at this, Nocchi.
A: You’re good at capturing the feature of those characters when you make imitation.
N:ちょっとなまっちゃう（笑）
N: When I try to imitate this character, I’ve always got some accents. LOL!
K:あとアレだ。コンピューター・シティーから、みんなで自分の CD 買いに行ったりしたよ
ね。
K: From “Computer City”, we started to buy our CDs by ourselves.

6. N:買いに行った。
N: Yeah, we bought it.
A:そうだね。
A: You’re right.
K:で、テクノを好きになったよね。やっとココで。
K: And at this point, we finally started to like Techno.
A:何かね、私ね capsule のライブをのっちと見に行ったんだよね。なんか青山の、なんかで
A: What I remember is I went to see the concert of Capsule with Nocchi.
A: I think it was at Aoyama or somewhere.
N:うんうん。SPIRAL？
N: Yes, we did! Wasn’t it at “SPIRAL”?
A:そうそう、SPIRAL で。なんか、めっちゃ楽しい！って思って。テクノって凄い！みたいな。
A: Yeah, it was at “SPIRAL”. I got overwhelmed by the concert.
A: I felt like “Oh my God! Techno music is amazing!”
N:この時にね、やっと分かったんよね。
N: At that time we finally realized.
A:そうそう！
A: Yeah.
N:色々モノクローム・エフェクトとか色々歌ってて分からなかった曲のかっこよさが、
N: About what cool songs we’d been playing.
N: We hadn’t been able to get that coolness when we sang songs like “Monochrome
Effect”.
A:分かって。初めてみんなに CD を聞いて欲しい！あの、初めてっていうか、友達とかにも見
て欲しい！みたいな。でそれで、学校にポスター持ってったの覚えてる？
A: After we realized, we wanted everyone to listen to our CD for the first time.
A: Well to be precise, we wanted to recommend our CD to our friends.
A: Do you remember we brought our poster to school?
N:え？覚えてない。
N: Really? No.
A:みんなポスター持ってくるんだよ。そのなんか、舞台出ますみたいな。そういうのを先生
に見せに来るみたいな。でなんか友達とかもやってたりしてたけど、ウチらはもちろん全然
やったことなくて、でもこの時に初めてポスターをみんなでもらえたから、学校持っていこ
うよ！って感じになって。一時期貼って貰ってたの覚えてない？
A: Everyone brought posters. Like “I’ll appear on this show” or something like that.
A: They all brought those posters to show them to teachers.
A: Most of our friend did that, but we’d never tried that.

7. A: But at that time, our staffs gave us our posters for the first time,
A: And we talked like “Why don’t we bring this to school?”
A: Don’t you remember that they postered it at school?
N,K:･･･覚えてない。
N,K: Really? ･･･Sorry, no I don’t.
A:学校で貼ってくれて。
A: And they postered them at school.
N:教室のとことかに？
N: In our classroom?
A:そうそうそう。
A: Yes.
K:そうなんじゃ～。
K: Really?
N,K:へぇ～。
N,K: We totally forgot that.
A:で「俺買いに行くよ」とか言って、クラスの子が買いに行ってくれたり、
A: Some class mates told us like “I’m gonna get this!”, and they actually bought it.
N:なんかこう、自分たちの曲の良さに気付いて、こう自信が持てたんだね。活動に。
N: We realized how cool our music was. That gave us confidence to our activities.
A:そうね。
A: That’s right.
K:多分インタビューとかも変わってきたよね。内容が。
K: I guess what we said in interview started to change from that time.
N:そうだと思う。
N: I think so, too.
A:じゃしこの曲が初めて「愛してる」って言葉が入った曲で、
A: Also, the lyric “I love you” was used for the first time in this song.
N,K:うん。
N,K: Yes.
A:それもね、なんかそういうこう
A: That also makes this song special.
K:人間味とか？気持ちがね。
K: For the first time, we expressed our feelings and humanness.
A:うん、ある感じを。今までそんなに出したことがないような歌詞ばっかりだったから、こ
こから少し、そういう人間的な暖かいとこも出てきたな、みたいな。感じはありますね。
A: Yeah, what we’d been singing were all those un-human kind of lyrics.

8. A: From this song, we felt we started to express our emotion.
N,K:うん。
N,K: Yes.
A:それでエレクトロ・ワールドがリリースされて、
A: And then, we released “Electro World”
N,K:はい。
N,K: Yes.
A:あれ UDX だったっけ？
A: Was it at “UDX”?
A,K:秋葉原の。
A,K: Yeah, “UDX” at Akihabara.
A:あそこで初めてやらせてもらって、1000 人集めて、
A: We held our first concert at UDX when we released it. 1,000 fans gathered up.
N:1000 人だよ！
N: 1,000 people, that’s amazing!
A:そう 1000 人で
A: Yes, 1,000 audiences.
N:すごいね～！
N: Unbelievable!
K:ビックリしたよね。
K: It was a big surprise for us.
A:凄い嬉しかった。で社長さんが見に来てくれて。
A: I was so happy about that. And the President of our company came to see our show.
N,K:そうそう。
N,K: Yes, he did.
A:「君たちは行けると思ってたんだよ。」
A: He said things like “I knew you could a big star!”
N,K:（笑）
N,K: LOL!
A:「じゃ、今からメイド喫茶行ってくるから！」
A: “Okay, I’m going to a Maid café, so see you!”
A,N,K: （笑）
A,N,K: LOL!
K:変わった社長だったね～。
K: What a weird president!
A:うん、今もね、応援してくれてますけど。

9. A: He was. But he has been supporting us ever since.
A:で、1st アルバム、「Perfume Complete Best」をリリースと。
A: Then, we released our 1st Album “Perfume Complete Best”
N,K:はい。
N,K: Yes.
A:初めてのアルバムにして、ベスト。
A: Our first and the best album at the same time.
N:コンプリートベスト。
N: The Complete Best.
K:しかもコンプリートって言っちゃいましたからね。
K: Yeah, we said it was complete best.
A:コンプリート（笑）
A: Complete! LOL!
K:一時期ね、ファンの人の中から、解散するんじゃないかっていう噂がね、凄い流れて。
K: At that time, a rumor had spread among our fans that we were going to disband.
A:そうそう、あった～。
A: Yeah, there was a rumor like that.
N:あったし言われたし。
N: Yes, there was. And we were actually asked questions a lot.
K:握手会で凄い言われたよね。
K: When we held Shake hand events, a lot of people asked us that question.
A:うん。
A: Yeah.
K:「解散しないでね」みたいなね。
K: Like “Please, do not disband!”
N:あの～、ライムスターの宇多丸さんに言われたの凄い覚えてる。
N: I really remember Utamaru-san of Rhymester(*3) asked us.
A,K:そうだね～。
A,K: Yeah!
N:何かの対談の時に、
「解散するの？」って。ホントに取材が終わって、ちょっと団らんの時
に、「解散すんの？」って言われて。
N: It was when we had a conversation for some magazine.
N: After the interview, he asked us like “Are you going to disband or something?”
N:でもその時には、こっち的にはもうチョコレイト・ディスコのね、その次の年のリリース
が決まってたから、
「いや解散しないです」ってちゃんと言えたけど、みんなその時は解散す
ると思ってた。

10. N: But at that time, it had been already decided that we were going to release
“Chocolate Disco” next year.
N: So, we could answer him “No, we won’t”.
N: But at that time everyone around us thought we would disband soon.
A:いや～、すると思うよ。
A: Yeah, No wonder they would think so.
K:今までがね、長かったから。おさらいして整理して、名刺代わりの 1 枚として、新曲パーフ
ェクトスター・パーフェクトスタイルをいれて、これから次に進んでいくよ、っていうまと
めをした、って言うつもりだったんだよね。こっちからすると。
K: From our side, our intention was to make a summary of our career.
K: As we had a pretty long career till we reached here,
K: so we wanted to bring old songs together, organize them and add one new song,
“Perfect Star, Perfect Style”
K: And we wanted to take a step ahead making this album as a name card.
K: We wanted everyone to know what we had been through.
A:うん。インディーズの時のとかも沢山あるし、だけど中田さんが作ってくれてるから、そ
こも聞きたい、って言ってくれとる声とかも凄く多くて。それをちゃんと整理しておかない
と、今後リリースは出来ない、みたいな。
A: Yeah, there were a lot of songs we recorded when we belonged to an Indie label.
A: There were a lot of requests for those old songs as Nakata-san had been in charge of
our music since then.
A: And if we hadn’t make those together, we wouldn’t have been able to release those
songs after this.
N,K:うん。
N,K: Yes.
A:イコールシングルがもう廃盤になってるから（笑）、絶対曲を手に入らないみたいな感
じになっちゃうから、アルバムいっちょ出しとくか！みたいなそういう考えなんだけど、ま
ぁこのアルバムがまた、来年にね、この時別にあのランク的には･･･
A: Because at this time, all those singles had been already discontinued. LOL!
A: So, it became impossible to get those songs.
A: So, we decide to release an album to prevent that.
A: This album didn’t make good sales on the chart at this time; it did in next year,
though.
N:なんか 60 何位とか。
N: I believe it was around 60th of the chart
A:そうですね。あのリニアモーターガールで初めて 99 位に入って、

11. A: Yes. “Linear Motor Girl” was our first song entered the chart. It was in 99th place.
N,K:そう！
N,K: Yes, it was!
A:無茶苦茶嬉しかったっていうところから、リリースをしていくことによって、ちょっとず
つこう、ランクが上がってきて。
A: We were extremely happy about that.
A: From that song, we climbed up the chart little by little with each release.
A:う～ん、とまぁ 2006 年だったんですけれども、
A: So, 2006 had passed like that.
N,K:はい！
N,K: Yup.
A:いよいよ 2007 年。
A: And the next week will be about 2007.
N:来た！
N: Finally we reached there!
A:こちらポリリズム、リリースの年であります。
A: This is the year we released “Polyrhythm”.
N:そうですね～！
N: That’s true!
K:運命が変わりますね。ここで。
K: The year changed our destinies.
N:そう！この 2007 年でなぁ、動くんですよ。色んな良い出会いもあったりとか、色んな事が
ホントに叶う年で。
N: Yes, a lot of things started to change in this year.
N: We had a lot of good encounters, and our various wishes were realized in this year.
A:あのショートカットの彼女が。
A: That girl with a short hair came into our story.
N:はい、あのボブの彼女が。
N: Yeah, that girl with a bobbed hair.
K:ねぇさんが。
K: The big sis.
A:ボブのねぇさんが。
A: Yeah, our big sis with a bobbed hair.
N:姉さんが。
N: Yes, our big sis.
A:あ、そうだドームもう近づくね。

12. A: Oh yeah, the Tokyo Dome concert is getting close!
N:あと１ヶ月。
N: Yes, we only have one month left.
A:10/3 はチケットの一般発売もあると、嬉しいことが沢山だね。
A: On 3rd of October, the tickets will be generally released. We have so many happy
things!
N:ホント！
N: Too true!
K:そうですね～。
K: Yeah.
A:2007 年、また来週も続く！
