This document announces a Diversity & Inclusion Marketplace Roundtable taking place on June 9th in Miami, Florida. The roundtable will bring together speakers from government agencies and non-profits to discuss business opportunities, resources, programs, and legislation through a diversity lens. Participants will hear from mayors, CEOs, publishers, and other leaders on panels about entrepreneurial resources, market expansion domestically and globally, and diversity in the future workforce.

Join us for the First Annual Diversity Marketplace Roundtable
June 9th in Miami, Florida! (8:15 am – 330 pm)
This program will put a diversity lens on the domestic and global marketplace and provide key information regarding business
opportunities, access to resources, strategic programs and legislation. Participants will hear speakers from the SBA, Department of State,
Minority Business Development Agency, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and other NGO’s.

“Entrepreneurial Opportunity: Access to Resources” – This session will focus on educating participants on the many available resources for
small, minority owned, women owned and hub-zone located businesses. It will also explore the advantages of the certification process to
gain access to contracts.
“Market Expansion: U.S. and Beyond” – According to Thomas Freidman, the world is flat. Building on that concept, this session will
educate the audience regarding the shifting demographics of the marketplace, as well as, business opportunities within and beyond the
United States.
“Workplace, Community, Future” – Panelists will review and discuss elements of diversity and inclusion related to the future workforce,
community and marketplace, such as pipeline development , going green and community relations and social responsibility.
