A preposition is a word that links a noun, pronoun, or noun phrase to some other part of the

A preposition is used to show direction, location, or time, or to introduce an object.
Prepositions of Place: at, in, on
In general,we use:

2. IN for an ENCLOSED SPACE

2. I am currently staying in a hotel.
3. My hometown is Los Angeles, which is in California.
Used to indicate a shape, color, or size:
1. This painting is mostly in blue.
2. The students stood in a circle.

Used to express while doing something:

1. He is on the phone right now.

Used to indicate the state of something:

Used to point out specific time:
