Savitri Jindal is the chairperson of the O.P. Jindal Group, an Indian conglomerate. She took over as chairperson in 2005 after the death of her husband, Om Prakash Jindal, who had founded the company. Under her leadership, the Jindal Group has expanded to include nearly 50 plants across India and countries in South America. Savitri Jindal was elected to the Haryana Government shortly after her husband's death and has four sons who also work in the family business.
